A place for me to post pictures and say what I want!

So I got my nose pierced like 2 weeks ago and am just now getting a picture of it. Here it is, though it's small so it doesn't exactly jump out at you. Anyway, every weekday after school, I go to my boyfriend's parents house and hang out with his niece. Sometimes we play scrabble or connect four (don't laugh, that game rocks!), or do yoga, or she will run errands with me. Hehe, she came with me to get my nose pierced. Partly because I knew I couldn't chicken out with her there, and partly because I'm a girl and tend to like company when I go just about anywhere and it would give us something different to do. I had been debating doing my nose for a long, long time, and was going to do it myself. When that failed horribly, I decided to go get it done. Next thing I know, me and Caiti (my bf's niece) are riding in my car heading to the place, ironically named 'The Pain Station'. They do full body piercings and tattoos. Well, apparently, unless they are working on a private area, they do everything out in the open. Some guy was getting a tattoo while I was filling out all the forms and stuff. Anyway, I checked the place out, it wasn't the greatest, but I watched as the guy pulled the stuff out of the autoclave and he wiped down the seat so I didn't see anything to worry about (and I was right btw) so I hoped up on the dentist lookin chair thing and asked a bombardment of questions from what it is like to how it is done. Finally satisfied, I leaned back and closed my eyes. The dude screwed with my head by doing it in two pushes and let me tell you, the second hurt worse than the first. The guy was definitely right when he said that overall, it was kind of like getting whacked in the nose with a baseball. It made my eyes water, as all nose injuries will, but no tears I am glad to report (I'm not one to cry much at physical pain, but that just has to do with how I was raised). I did however say 'holy shit' a lot and according to Caiti, made a really weird face. The piercing hasn't given me much trouble, even with my allergies, no pain sneezing or blowing my nose. And despite my mom's predictions, I don't blow snot like a whale coming up for air everytime I blow my nose or sneeze! All in all, I am happy with it, but it will be my last piercing, bringing the total to 2 in my right ear, 3 in my left ear, 1 in my bellybutton, and now 1 in my nose. No more holes in this head!

These are my Bf's kids sitting on the lap of the santa at a local mall. The boy is Zachary, the girl is Jillienne. They have been sitting on this santa's lap since they were born. He's a nice old man, but obviously confused. He actually thought I was their mother!!! Don't know whether or not to cry that I look old enough to have kids their age or just take it as a confused old man! :P

Ok, here are my kitties!! The big fat calico is Missy Prissy (not my choice of names mind you, rather my dad's doing) who goes by Missy for short. The little tortie is named Flicker, or Flick for short.
Well, Missy is a diva. She used to use biting to get her way, and has long since learned the error of her ways. She now occasionally pees on clothes in its place, but has since trained us and a long time has passed since she last felt the need.
Flicker, well, Flick isn't the brightest bulb in teh chandelier. Let's just leave it at that. Her bag cape (pure accident and comical to see her try to escape) is proof enough of that!

Ok, so the other weekend, a friend of mine (I met on a workcamp trip years ago), who recently moved to about 2 hours away from me, and her new husband stayed the weekend with me and my boyfriend. It was a blast. They arrived on friday night, and saturday, we took them to the six flags not far from our house. It was a blast. I felt kinda bad though cuz her husband wasn't feelin the greatest, so waited while we went on rides. We got one of those line holder thingees though. Definitely worth the investment! And they have this 3-d haunted house that kicked serious butt. It wasn't scary, but it was cool how everything was 3-d and stuff. The rides were great. Part of the fun was my friend screaming her head off!!! Afterwards, we went to a bar/restaurant in our town for dinner, then came home and crashed. The next day, sunday, we took them to Grant's farm. It used to be land owned by president grant, but was later bought by budwieser and it houses a nature preserve and the famous budweiser clydesdales. Huge suckers they are too!! Anyway, we chilled in the beer garden a while (the above picture is me, my boyfriend Eric, my friend Megan, and her husband David sitting in the beer garden), walked a while and just hung out. Got to pet camels adn goats and llamas. Saw some cool animals too. It was great getting to see friends again. I can't wait to do it again!!!!

Ok, so this is my first post. And it's not easy to type mind you, cuz I have a kitty on my lap at the moment. First, I want to make a list of some favorite websites of mine:
www.rayzorandpenny.com -the website of my portfolio photographer
www.gpmidi.net -a friend of mine's web site
http://wot.envy.com -the site for the mudd I like to play on.
I like to play games online. I play all kinds of games from mudds, to board games (I'm addicted to yahtzee). I live with my boyfriend and have two cats (one of which is still on my lap) and 3 days a week my boyfriends 2 kids. I love reading and writing (I have 3 poems published). I play the flute, handbells and I sing. I am trying to teach myself violin and piano. In my free time if im not on the computer or reading, you might find me doing yoga, watching tv, cross-stitching (don't laugh, it's not THAT bad!). I am an Avon representative. I am currently building a portfolio to get into modeling. Some of my pictures can be seen at the website listed above. That's all for now, more later!
